Fleet striker Tyrone Marsh will be leaving for Torquay United, where the 21-year-old is set to sign a one-year deal.
Marsh, who was former manager Jamie Day’s first signing, joined Fleet from Oxford United only 24 hours after scoring against us while on loan for Welling United in the FA Trophy.
Having scored 10 goals in 20 games for the Wings in the Vanarama Conference, where he built up a great reputation, hopes were high at Stonebridge Road upon his arrival and the striker made seven starts and seven more from the bench. With Fleet’s surplus of current attacking options, however, he has moved up a division to join the Gulls under new manager Paul Cox.
