Ex-Fleet players invited for traditional end-of-season return

With the end of the regular season fast approaching, the Fleet are once again inviting any former first-team players back as our guests for the last home game of the season v Hampton & Richmond Borough on Saturday, April 18th.

First held at the end of 2021/22 and repeated over the last two seasons, former players and managers have been invited back to the club with a guest to watch the final home game of the league season.

Players to have returned in the past few years include Terry Cordice, Colin Dalton, Jeff Eyers, Cesc Fakinos, Andy Ford, Lee Gledhill, Bob Glozier, Gary Groom, Matt Gubbins, Keith Hepple, Joe Howe, Jimmy Jackson, Pip Jeffrey, Paul Lamb, Paul Lorraine, Joe Martin, Colin Norman, Steve Portway, Steve Restarick, Alan Risk, Wayne Schwieso, Ricky Shakes, Justin Smale, Chris Solly, Darren Summerfield, Len Tomkins, Lee Turner, Tommy Warrilow, Mal Watkins, Craig Wilkins and Calum Willock.

The end-of-season meet-up goes hand-in-hand with our intention to always provide a welcoming environment for our old players and managers – and we have a policy of issuing complimentary tickets to them to see a Fleet league match at any time they so choose.

Any player or manager who would like to attend v Hampton on Saturday, 18th April, please email [email protected] with your details and confirm if you would like to add complimentary tickets also for family and we’ll be delighted to host you.

The club continues to renew links with former players/managers so they and supporters are encouraged to share this with anybody they know who might have links with the club. We will email players whose details we have separately but ex-players are always welcome to get in contact at the email address above to add their contacts to our database.
