Haydn Hollis today departs Ebbsfleet United after 18 months at the Kuflink Stadium.
The defender is set to sign for Dorking Wanderers, bringing to an end a Fleet career that saw him win the Vanarama National League South title with the club in 2022/23 and make 47 appearances in total.
Hollis arrived at the Fleet from Chesterfield in July 2022, stating that “I come here seeking promotion. I’m here to win and get promoted, nothing less” and he was as good as his word, making 30 league appearances last season and scoring twice – against St Albans City and Farnborough.
This season he played 12 times, his final appearance for the club coming as a substitute in the Kent Senior Cup.
All of us at the Fleet thank Haydn for his time with us and all his endeavours in helping us to the league title last season. He has been a big character on and off the pitch in his time at the club and we wish him the very best for the future.
