Matches against Dorking Wanderers have always had a lot riding on them and the latest this Saturday is another huge fixture as the Fleet travel to Meadowbank for the first time in two years to take on Marc White’s league leaders.
Form guide
A good run in form saw Dorking Wanderers take over top spot from Torquay, with White winning manager of the month, and gain a big advantage at the top of the table – but just one win in their last five has seen the gap closed, with Dorking now just three points ahead of Hornchurch and six ahead of the Fleet and Worthing. A win against the Wanderers could put the Fleet just three points off top spot. The hosts have lost just one at home, though, to Hampton at the beginning of the season.
The Fleet have secured back-to-back victories with wins against Torquay United and Eastbourne Borough to start March with intent.

Last time out
The Fleet enjoyed a 2-1 victory earlier in the season at the Kuflink Stadium. Despite going a goal behind, Ben Chapman and Dominic Samuel completed the comeback and secured the three points. The last visit to Meadowbank was in the National League when Fleet ran out 4-1 winners (below).

Who’s who
Harrison Foulkes has been Wanderers’ first-choice goalkeeper since the start of the 2024/25 season. Since joining from Eastbourne Borough, he has made over 70 appearances and recorded 20 clean sheets in a Dorking shirt. The 23-year-old came through Hull City’s academy before moving to Derby County in 2021, where he made 20 appearances for the club’s U23 side and had loan spells with Kettering Town.
Jake Lawrence – With Paul McCallum, Jason Prior and Alfie Rutherford facing fitness issues, young forward Lawrence could take centre stage unless Marc White can make a new signing before Saturday. A product of AFC Wimbledon’s youth system, he moved from midfield to striker and went on loan to Kingstonian, which gave him a taste of senior football. After his release from Wimbledon, he signed for Dorking at the start of the season and spent a period on loan at Broadbridge Heath before being recalled in December.
