Funeral arrangements have now been made for Tony Pilcher, who died last week.
Tony, who was paid tribute with a minute’s applause at last weekend’s home game, was a member of the Fleet maintenance team and anyone wishing to attend his funeral, please note the below details.
The funeral procession will leave Stonebridge Road on Tuesday, 28th February, at around 14.30 from where it will make its way to Chalk Crematorium for a service at 15.00.
We will return to the EUFC Social Club after that for a celebration of Tony’s life.
The funeral directors are Co-op Gravesend Funeral, 127a Milton Road, Gravesend DA12 2PG. From the week beginning 13 February, Tony will be at the Chapel of Rest at the Funeral Directors, should anyone wish to visit. Please call beforehand to arrange (01474 564082).
Flowers can be sent to the funeral directors or donations in Tony’s memory to your favourite charity are also most welcome.
