Ebbsfleet United midfielder Tom Phipp has joined Ryman League Premier leaders Maidstone United on a loan agreement that will see him remain at the Gallagher Stadium until December 7.

He joins as ex-Fleet player and current Maidstone manager Jay Saunders seeks to fill a gap in the Stones midfield as a result of suspensions and injuries.

Fleet boss Steve Brown feels Phipp needs more game time this season with first-team opportunities limited for a player who has appeared more than 120 times in his Stonebridge Road career but who has made just one start and five substitute appearances in this campaign.
