Ahead of tomorrow’s Emirates FA Cup tie v Fleetwood Town, the club can issue the following update for supporters about ticket sales.
We have experienced strong sales since the Second Round draw was made for which we thank all our supporters and visitors. We will continue to sell on the day on Sunday at our ticket window kiosks as previously announced but due to high demand and as a result of our robust ticket sales to date, please be aware that there may be only a limited number available should we approach our capacity figure for the day.
Therefore, we would strongly urge all supporters without tickets to make use of online sales or drop in to us today until 4pm to buy in person.
As things stand, the ticket-sales procedure is as follows:
• Online sales will continue overnight and close at 9:00am on Sunday morning.
• In-person sales are available today (Saturday) at our reception up until 4pm.
• On-the-day sales at our ticket windows on matchday (Sunday) will be open from 10.00am until 11.30am only.
• Online programme reservations will close at 4pm today also.
• Gates open at the Kuflink Stadium at 10.30am on Sunday.
Fleet CEO Damian Irvine did a perimeter walk-round yesterday to show fans some of the work going on behind the scenes – please take a moment to view that below. Some important information from that includes:
• Fleet supporters will have the whole of the Swanscombe End
• Fleetwood Town supporters will be segregated into one half of the old stand – they will have a fenced off entrance/exit point, so home supporters are able to access the Swanscombe End via the usual route behind the old stand.
• Due to the number of supporters expected, changing ends may prove to be very busy indeed so we would encourage fans to stay in the one area for the full 90 minutes.
• Due to the gantries for TV cameras and LED advertising boards along the Main Stand and behind each goal, there is some restricted viewing. We have attempted to minimise this as best we can in tandem with the TV companies but inevitably there are areas that will be restricted. Please be mindful that the first row of seats behind the LED boards will also be a little restricted depending on stature!
• Supporters are politely reminded that due to TV advertising rules, no flags are permitted to be hung over advertising boards. We encourage our usual array of colourful banners displayed but please do so where you will not obstruct perimeter or other stadium advertising.
