From last-minute goals to safety on the final day, Dominic Samuel put his mark on the Fleet last season and has now put pen to paper ahead of the 2024/25 season.
The striker arrived at the Kuflink Stadium late in October 2023 and has since featured 23 times for the club. His seven-month spell at the Fleet has seen the 30-year-old score vital goals including his last-minute winner against Rochdale and debut equaliser at Hartlepool United. Samuel’s solo run against Oldham Athletic also netted him the club’s Goal of the Season as voted for by Fleet supporters.
Before arriving at the Kuflink Stadium, Samuel played for the likes of Gillingham, Ross County and Blackburn Rovers and he now extends his stay at Ebbsfleet United into a second campaign.
Samuel links up once again alongside his strike partners in Rakish Bingham and Dominic Poleon. Speaking to FleetTV, Samuel discussed the healthy competition amongst the Fleet strike force. “As soon as Danny came in he said if you don’t work hard then you will not play which is the number one thing in football. People say it’s competition in the striker position but it’s healthy competition – all three of us can score goals so if anything, it will push us all to do better.”
