Fleet full back Aiden Palmer has rejoined Chelmsford City on a month’s loan. The 28-year-old has sat out pre-season with a knee injury and, having just resumed training in the past week, the club are keen for him to continue his rehabilitation alongside playing time.
With Chelmsford requiring cover in the full-back position, the loan move is a good fit for both clubs and Aiden is likely to feature in the Clarets squad for their home game against Hayes & Yeading United.
He moved to Fleet from Chelmsford in the summer of 2013 and will be warmly welcomed back to the club for his month’s stay.
