Olagunju back in the Fleet ranks!

Ebbsfleet United can announce the permanent signing of defender Mustapha Olagunju. The 22-year-old Olagunju joins following a previous loan spell with the club last season.

The defender came to us originally on a temporary deal from Huddersfield Town in October 2023, making his debut at Southend United, and he featured nine times in all for the Fleet during that loan.

The 6ft 3in centre-back joined the Huddersfield academy ranks from Kent Football United in 2018 where he went on to feature 31 times for the U17s, earning him a move to the U19s in 2020.

His first senior football experience came in spells in the Northern Premier League with Tadcaster Albion and then a further seven appearances for Welling United in the National League South. Olagunju then went on to make six EFL appearances for Port Vale on loan in 2021, adding another League Two outing with Crawley Town following his time at the Fleet last season.

We give Mustapha a warm welcome back to the club as he embarks on a permanent stay at the Kuflink Stadium.

The defender, who will wear squad number 24, is available to sponsor by emailing [email protected] or calling us on 01474 533796.
