Fleet make it a Boxing Day!

Ebbsfleet United can round off this week with news of our latest signing as forward Olly Box makes the move from Dartford.

An exciting young prospect at the age of 21, who mainly plays out wide in attacking positions but is versatile across the final third, Olly burst on to the scene straight out of the Dartford Academy pathway as a teenager. He scored on his senior debut in the National League South in 2023/24 and fired six goals from 13 starts for the Darts during that campaign.

His development continued apace the following season when he struck 14 goals in 35 games as he was recognised as Dartford’s young player of the season, with the club narrowly missing out on promotion after reaching the play-off final.

Fleet’s new signing turned that young-player award into a full-blown Player of the Year last season as he won three accolades – the Supporters’ Player of the Year vote alongside Dartford’s golden boot and a second young player of the season. The 2025/26 campaign saw him add 17 more goals and nine assists to his tally at Princes Park as he increased his reputation as one of the Isthmian Premier’s most productive and effective young players.

A compensation fee for Olly’s youth development is payable and the two clubs have been in discussions and are working co-operatively on the value and terms of that.
