Myles Weston departs

Ebbsfleet United can this afternoon confirm that the contract of Myles Weston has been cancelled by mutual consent, the player departing the club for personal reasons.

Myles joined the club from Wycombe Wanderers in the summer of 2017 and has played 122 games for the Fleet, scoring 13 times – seven of those goals coming in his 30 appearances this season.

One of his most fondly remembered goals will be the second at Tranmere Rovers in the club’s 2018 play-off semi-final that briefly put us 2-1 ahead at Prenton Park.

This season, the winger’s form has been a shining light for the Fleet but he played his last game in the 1-0 home defeat to Dover Athletic before being forced off with a hamstring injury.

Everybody at the Kuflink Stadium would like to thank Myles for his hard work and commitment over the past three seasons. We wish him and his family all the best for the future and he will always be very welcome back here.
