Fleet goalkeeper Jonathan Miles has signed for Concord Rangers on a three-month loan deal.
The 23-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper, who has been backup to both Brandon Hall and Nathan Ashmore, has played six games for the Fleet since signing in the summer of 2015 but the club is eager to get a run of games for Miles and the opportunity at Concord provides just that.
He will now be available for the Beachboys’ Essex derby game against Chelmsford City – the club against whom Miles made his Fleet debut – and do battle with Ben McNamara for the No.1 shirt.
Fleet boss Daryl McMahon has registered 30-year-old goalkeeping coach and former Farnborough and Boreham Wood No.1 Michael Jordan to serve as Ashmore’s backup while Miles is at Concord.
