MiddletonMurray back in fresh link-up

Fleet’s former sponsors and partners MiddletonMurray have unveiled a new connection to Stonebridge Road as their pre-Apprenticeship trainees are due to be based at the club from the end of the month.

The joint initiative is designed to enable local young people aged 16-24 to unlock their potential and to prepare them for their future careers by helping them to become “work ready”.

MiddletonMurray’s six-week careers preparation programme is a training and job placement induction course that guarantees 100%, a placement into a real job once the training programme has been fully completed. There will be a series of Open Days for young people interested in finding out more about attending our Traineeship programme and these will be held at the club on:

Tuesday 14th March 2017 – 12-3pm
Thursday 16th March 2017 – 12-3pm
Wednesday 22nd March 2017 – 12-3pm
Thursday 23rd March 2017 – 10am–1pm

Fleet vice chairman Peter Varney said, “We are delighted to link up with our friends from MiddletonMurrray in offering career opportunities to young people. Northfleet is an area of high unemployment and as the local football club we have a responsibility to help them fulfil their potential and if by working with MiddletonMurray we can achieve that, we will have given something significant back to the community from which we draw our support.”

Danny Harrer, MiddletonMurray’s Head of Sales said, ”We’re very much looking forward to hosting our pre-apprenticeship traineeship programme at Ebbsfleet United. The club is perfectly located with great transport links and we are excited by the opportunity this offers to local young people to kick-start their careers”.

Danny added, “I’d like to thank our friends at Ebbsfleet United and in particular the club’s General Manager, Dave Archer, for all their help and support.”
