Fleet midfielders Matt Johnson and Sean Shields have joined Margate on a month’s loan.
The pair have previously been loaned out north of the river, with Johnson having just returned after several months at former club Bishop’s Stortford and Shields having spent a month with Chelmsford City.
They both played in the 6-2 defeat of Maidstone United in the Kent Senior Cup last week, their first Fleet appearances of the season, and will continue to get game time at Hartsdown Park, with Margate due to travel to Shields’ former club St Albans City on Saturday and face Maidstone United over a busy Christmas period.
