Ebbsfleet United midfielder Robbie Willmott, whose loan move last week to Crawley Town fell through at the last minute, will join up with Eastleigh in a temporary deal.
The 25-year-old, who has played 15 games for the Fleet this season, will stay at the Silverlake Stadium until 2nd January.
Daryl McMahon told FleetOnline, “It says a lot for our squad that Robbie Willmott’s gone up a league, and it would have been two if he’d gone to Crawley, but he’s not been getting into our side lately.
“He’s a fantastic, intelligent player but is still getting to grips a bit with dropping down to this level. So hopefully, this will kick-start him again and he’ll be back in a month or so’s time and we’ll see a rejuvenated Robbie Willmott.”
