We are conscious that supporters are of course anxious and interested in updates ahead of tonight’s National League meeting at 7pm.

We can confirm that a full submission to the League was submitted prior to today’s 5pm deadline.

Included within that submission was evidence that funds are available to clear all our liabilities as stipulated by the National League requirements.

It has been a challenge over the last six days since Wednesday. As a result of the now-paid Winding-Up Petition being advertised in The Gazette on Thursday morning, the club’s banking was placed on restriction.

Additionally, the Bank Holiday period has added to the difficult task of achieving all transfers and payments prior to today’s deadline due to smaller daily payment limits being in place.

The League were made aware of this potential issue since late last week. They have been helpful in working with the club on alternative solutions to ensure proof of funds and the settlement of required liabilities today and over the next 72 hours.

We can confirm that, as per our statement last week, the HMRC liabilities relating to the winding-up petition have been paid in full. The club and the League have also received written confirmation of this from HMRC and as a result, their legal department will apply for the petition’s dismissal.

Additionally, all other HMRC liabilities for the month of July were paid in full and there remain no outstanding amounts due to HMRC.
