As Fleet supporters head into the Bank Holiday weekend, we know you are eager for the latest news and so wanted to give you a further update ahead of next week’s National League deadline of Tuesday.

We continue to work on all the requirements to satisfy the League and we will be submitting our response to them on Monday.

Furthermore, supporters may have seen the formal publication of the Winding-Up Petition in the latest Gazette notices. The HMRC bill was, as stated on Wednesday, paid in full the evening before that notice was published. The process to formally withdraw the Winding-Up Petition does require a considerable amount of work and communication with different departments at HMRC and that is another area in which we have been working today.

Once that process has been formally discharged, this will release the financial logistics we have been operating under and aid considerably in fulfilling the League’s requirements for Tuesday – and our desired outcome for a lifting of the current suspension.
