Karn Miller-Neave scored on his debut for Sheppey United following a swiftly-arranged loan move last Friday for the young Fleet defender.
Miller-Neave, who scored his first senior goal direct from a free-kick on his Fleet debut, netted a header (below) on 67 minutes in Sheppey’s 2-0 home win over Tunbridge Wells in the Southern Counties East Football League. It moves the Ites up to fourth and the match was watched by 465 people.
Miller-Neave played against Sheppey in the Fleet’s 2-1 Kent Reliance Senior Cup win last month and he will stay with the islanders for an initial month with a view to gaining a run of matches at senior level.
