Jordan joins Lewes on loan

Ebbsfleet United midfielder Jordan Sanderson, who joined the club last week, is to join Lewes on a month’s loan to help him gain match fitness.

The former Colchester United player, 21, picked up a knock midway through the friendly programme which prevented him getting as many minutes on pitch as he might otherwise have had.

Fleet boss Steve Brown told Fleet Online, “Jordan needs game time to get him up to speed after the injury he suffered in pre-season and Lewes have a lot of matches in the next four weeks. Hopefully that will see him reach peak fitness before his return to us”.

Sanderson follows Leo Mazzone, who has gone to Sittingbourne for first-team experience.
