It’s Eastbourne in the FA Cup

Fleet will play host to Eastbourne Borough in the FA Cup third qualifying round after the south-coast club came through their replay against Farnborough, winning 2-0 at Paddy Power Park.

It will be the second meeting between the clubs this season, with a 1-1 draw at Eastbourne having been played out in the Skrill South in August. The Sports lie in sixth place in the league at present.

The two sides have met three times previously in cup competitions, a 0-0 draw and 1-0 reply win for the Fleet in the 2004-05 FA Trophy and 3-1 win at Priory Lane for the Fleet in a Setanta Shield match in 2008.

The FA Cup tie takes place at Stonebridge Road on Saturday, October 12, kick-off 3.00pm. Entry is free to season-ticket holders and under 12s. Standard admission for adults and concessions is as league prices (£10/£5).

In the event of a replay, it will take place at Eastbourne Borough on Tuesday, 15 October, kick-off 7.45pm. Admission there is £12 adults, £8 concessions and £1 for under 16s.
