Daryl McMahon will add further defensive cover to his squad with the signing of left back Craig Braham-Barrett, to take effect from August 1st.
The 27-year-old London-born player most recently played for Cheltenham Town in League Two, racking up more than 80 appearances in two seasons with the Robins.
He began his career in non-league football after coming through the Charlton and Sheffield Wednesday youth systems. After playing for Aveley, Eastleigh and Welling United amongst others, Peterborough paid £10,000 for his services. Although he didn’t make the breakthrough at London Road and turned out for Havant, Sutton and Farnborough, a move to Macclesfield Town (alongside John Paul Kissock) reignited his career and led to a return to the Football League with Cheltenham.
He is also eligible to play international football for both Jamaica and Montserrat, but turned down a World Cup call-up by the latter to fully concentrate on his club commitments.
The defender, who played alongside Daryl McMahon at Farnborough, might also be remembered by Fleet fans for playing against us in the 2010/11 promotion final (below).
