Jamie Day continues to reshape his squad with the acquisition of Theo Lewis, who will sign Tuesday morning at the PHB Stadium.
Fleet will pay Woking an undisclosed fee for the 23-year-old attacking midfielder who came through the Chelsea and Reading youth ranks prior to joining League One Cheltenham Town in 2007. After making his debut for the Robins in 2009, he clocked up 40 Football League appearances and also spent time on loan at Gloucester, before spearheading Salisbury’s promotion push in 2012/13.
A regular in the Whites side in Conference South and Premier until their financial woes, he then signed for Woking in the summer and this season has played 23 times for the Cards, scoring twice.
Manager Jamie Day told FleetOnline: “Theo is a talented young player who I have monitored over the last few years. He has lots of energy and is a very good footballer. I am pleased to have him on board and look forward to working with him.”
