Ebbsfleet United have completed a deal to bring Scunthorpe United striker Matt Godden to Stonebridge Road for his second spell at the club.
Godden, 22, is no stranger to Fleet fans having enjoyed two periods on loan during the 2012-13 season, scoring five goals in 10 games. He spent time on loan at Dartford and Tamworth in the Conference Premier last season, again proving his predatory touch with five goals for each of those clubs in 10 games as well.
The Kent-born forward, who played in the Championship for Scunthorpe, was offered a new deal by the newly promoted Irons and generated interest around the Conference but has opted for Stonebridge Road where he proved so popular in his first spell.
Fleet boss Steve Brown is hoping to complete further acquisitions very shortly.
