Ebbsfleet United central defender Anthony Acheampong has signed a contract extension to keep him at Stonebridge Road until June 2016.
The 25-year-old, who won the Conference South title with Welling United, signed from Barnet in February 2014; he slotted straight into the Fleet side and has been a regular and reliable team member ever since.
This season, despite a spell on the sidelines following an injury at North Ferriby United in the FA Trophy, Anthony spent more minutes on the pitch than any other Fleet player, starting 35 games in all for a club career total of 53 appearances.
“I can’t wait to get started again,” the defender said of his new contract. “I’m pleased to stay and I’m sure we’ll continue to build.”
