The Emirates FA Cup begins for the Fleet on September 17th and following today’s draw, it will be at home to Dover Athletic for Dennis Kutrieb’s squad.
The Whites will make a swift return trip having visited the Fleet in the league most recently on Bank Holiday Monday when goals from Dominic Poleon (2) and Rakish Bingham gave the home side a 3-0 victory.
The Kent derby will be the seventh meeting of the clubs in the FA Cup and the first since Fleet lost out in a Crabble replay in 1998. Fleet won the first four FA Cup matches against Dover from 1947 to 1952, before the clubs met again in 1998/99.
Last season, Fleet made it all the way to the First Round while Dover were knocked out at the Fourth Qualifying Round stage by Yate Town.
Ticket news will be issued as soon as confirmed – this will be an all-pay match with season tickets not eligible.
