Last Friday (7th August) the club provided a video update on what was required  to meet the conditions set by the National League to lift the current suspension. The decision by the League will be made at a meeting on Wednesday, 19th August.

Supporters and all staff here at the club are naturally eager for news before then, of course.

We’ve been advised internally of the timeline on the proposed course of action, which includes the satisfying of all required liabilities and clarity on the ownership structure. Significant work and planning this week has taken place along with directors’ meetings.

All parties involved are conscious of the 5pm deadline set by the League for 18th August.

A substantial response to the League’s requests will be tabled prior to that deadline, including further clarity on the ownership structure. The details of that submission and completion will be communicated to supporters and all stakeholders once lodged and completed.

We plan for an open forum at the club as soon as possible once the League have received the submission and response, and we appreciate this may be at short notice for supporters; however, we will make efforts to ensure those who cannot attend will be able to participate.
