Ebbsfleet United are pleased to announce the first of two signings today with the capture of former MK Dons striker Brandon Thomas-Asante.
The 20-year-old was with his hometown club for eight years, progressing through the Academy to the first-team and was twice rewarded with extended contracts by the League One club. He scored his first goal for the Dons in the FA Cup in 2016/17 and in the same season was named the club’s Academy Player of the Year.
He played 35 times in all for MK Dons, 21 of them in League One. Brandon has also enjoyed loan spells in the National League with Sutton United (scoring one of the U’s goals of the season v Bromley on New Year’s Day) and the South with Oxford City last season.
He departed Stadium MK at the end of last season following the expiry of his contract and trialed with Swindon Town in the summer, scoring twice in a pre-season friendly.
The club would like to welcome Brandon to the club and wish him all the best at the Kuflink Stadium. He will wear the No.19 shirt this season.
Fleet’s second signing, a defender, will be announced around 12.45pm.
