Alex stays part of crew

Ebbsfleet United have moved to strengthen their squad early in the January transfer window with an extension to midfielder Alex Stavrinou’s loan.


The Charlton youngster, who arrived at Stonebridge Road in December and made his debut in the side’s first win for 14 games, will now remain at the Fleet until the end of the season under new terms agreed with the Addicks.

Stavrinou’s arrival has coincided with an upturn in form for Liam Daish’s men, who have won four of the six games in which he has played. The Fleet boss commented, “I am pleased that Stav has committed himself to us until the end of the season. He is up for the challenge and is looking forward to helping us out of our current situation. Stav has already established himself in his short while at the club and I am sure will go from strength to strength with this longer stay.”
