A big thanks to all fans!

Yesterday’s bucket collection for the campaign to raise funds for Jack Howard’s cancer treatment in the USA raised funds totalling £1,136.

That included a £200 donation from the Fleet Supporters Trust, together with amounts contributed by both Fleet and Havant & Waterlooville fans at the ground.

Members of the fundraising team, told FleetOnline: “The team were blown away by the response received, examples of which were the Supporters’ Trust donation, those of the home and visiting teams and of course all the Ebbsfleet and Havant supporters for being very generous and making us feel welcome. £1,136 is a fantastic effort for which we’re very proud and very grateful.”

Jack has now started his treatment in LA with his family staying in the Ronald McDonald House which provides accommodation for families with children in hospital but it is only the start of a long journey for Jack and funds are still desperately needed for future treatment and to support his family throughout. You can follow Jack’s progress on the Twitter account @SaveOurJack and if you missed the chance to donate yesterday (or wish to give another donation!), there is an online fundraising page here.
