Kyri is Fleet’s new GK coach

Ebbsfleet United are pleased to announce our new goalkeeping coach as Kyri Neocleous.

The 32-year-old steps into the role vacated by Darren Smith’s move to Notts County and he has joined the Fleet having most recently been at National League level with Sutton United.

Kyri pursued a coaching career as a youth, moving to the United States as a teenager to develop his skills and experience. Having already worked for the FA from a young age, he became the youngest manager in his division when taking charge of Enfield Town’s women’s side, leading them to become the first part-time team to reach a national final.

He became Enfield’s men’s first-team goalkeeper coach before taking on the same duties with Braintree Town across three seasons. In 2023/24, he joined Hornchurch’s coaching staff for the season in which they won the Isthmian Premier title before moving to Sutton United with manager Steve Morison.

Kyri has been settling into the club very well and working with the Fleet’s goalkeepers and alongside Josh Wright and David Kerslake. Please join us in welcoming him formally to his new role at the Kuflink Stadium.
