While the Fleet’s strong performances in the Vanarama National League have been picking up points, so too are the club’s loaned players continuing to make an impact.
Shaq Coulthirst is at Braintree Town until the end of the season and has contributed plenty to the Iron’s play-off charge, playing 23 times with nine goals along the way. The Essex side sit third in the table with much to compete for in the final weeks of the season.
Like Coulthirst, Nathan Odokonyero will see the NLS campaign out on loan. He has spent the majority of 2024 with Tonbridge Angels. Although featuring in the Fleet’s Kent Senior Cup win over Beckenham Town, the 21-year-old continues to shine at Longmead with eight goals in 12 appearances, including a brace in the Angels 4-1 victory over Torquay United this weekend.
Harrison Firth is gaining a huge amount of senior experience at Chipstead who are 19th in the Isthmian South Central Division. He has played 28 times and celebrated a clean sheet this weekend as the Surrey side enjoyed a 2-0 win over Uxbridge..
And finally, David Amoo’s loan to Welling United until the end of the season was announced in midweek and he hit the ground running yesterday with a 94th minute debut goal to secure the three points over Weston-super-Mare in a 3-1 win that keeps the Wings’ survival bid on track.
