As has been traditional for the past two seasons, Fleet will round off their week’s pre-season training-camp exercise with a friendly.
Whereas before Daryl McMahon’s men have faced Portuguese opposition, this time they will take on League One side Shrewsbury Town who are also on pre-season training in the same area at the same time. The game kicks off at 11.30am on Saturday, 8th July.
Paul Hurst’s team finished 18th in League One last season and have recently signed former Dartford youngster Ebou Adams on loan from Norwich City. Another new signing who has previously faced the Fleet is Arthur Gnahoua who was part of the Kidderminster Harriers outfit who were the last team to beat McMahon’s side.
