Ebbsfleet United have recruited central defender Yado Mambo to bolster the back line heading into a busy winter schedule following completion of his signing this morning.
The 25-year-old has had two previous spells at the club, on loan from Charlton Athletic in 2011/12 and again briefly in 2013/14, clocking up 32 appearances and three goals. Aside from his time at Stonebridge Road, Mambo played in the Football League for AFC Wimbledon and Shrewsbury Town and has since turned out for Dover Athletic, Chelmsford City, Hayes & Yeading United, Margate and most recently Bishop’s Stortford.
Mambo, signed on a short-term contract, will be available for selection at Oxford City but he won’t feature against Woking next weekend, however, as he is cup-tied having played for Bishop’s Stortford in the previous round.
