No Limit Street Band to play at Stones clash

Winning is a great feeling and it certainly helps the team if Fleet fans are right behind them throughout a game. The performance on the pitch at Maidstone United was matched by the travelling 300 Fleet fans who out-sung the 2,000 strong Maidstone home crowd.

As the return fixture rapidly approaches, I have been talking to the ‘No Limit Street Band’ to arrange for them to attend the home game v Maidstone United on Saturday, 3rd October, to warm up the home crowd outside the Fleet Lounge before the game with the band’s distinctive style of raw and energetic party and pop music hits.

Those who attended last season’s Community Day at the Hemel Hempstead home game will remember how good the NLSB are and the great atmosphere they created with their infectious brand of brass and percussion music.

The current line-up of the No Limit Street Band is, ‘The Brass’ – Rus Rogers (trumpet / pBone), Band leader Simon Fry (trumpet / flugel), Dan Easter (trumpet), Graham Entwistle (trombone), Kate Williams (trombone), Paul Richards (tuba) and The Percussionettes – Lucy Richards and Vicky Richards.

The NLSB are all current or former members of local charity, The Knights Academy of Music and Performing Arts whose HQ is based at Britannia House, Lower Road, Northfleet Industrial Estate, Kent, DA11 9BL.

I know that you will show your support for the No Limit Street Band ahead of the Maidstone game just as you are all getting behind Macca and the lads at every match by keeping on singing.
