Three players depart the Fleet

Following the end of the 2014/15 season, three members of the Ebbsfleet United playing squad have departed the club.

Luke Rooney and Mark Gower leave after their contracts expired while Jamie Turner, who was on non-contract terms, also departs.

Turner, in his second spell at the club after winning the Ryman League in 2001/02, made only one substitute appearance in 2015, having been signed as goalkeeping cover. Similarly signed as cover, Mark Gower’s appearances were limited to just three from the bench as the ex-Swansea midfielder stepped out of retirement to join the club.

Twenty-four-year-old winger Rooney, a March signing from Luton Town, made six appearances after his debut at Concord Rangers.

The club would like to thank all three for their service to the club this year and wish them well in their future careers.
