Defender Dean Pooley has joined Ryman League Premier side Leatherhead on a one-month loan.
The 28-year-old, who rejoined the club from Maidstone in September, is in need of match practice with Steve Brown adamant that he wants all his squad players fully fit and ready to go through the winter months. At Leatherhead, who lie 16th in the Ryman Premier, he will be reunited with former teammate Stacy Long.
Meanwhile, Brown has indicated that Lloyd Harrington’s initial one-month loan deal at Lewes is likely to be extended for a further month when that comes up for renewal in the middle of November. In fact, Pooley and Harrington could line up against each other this coming Saturday as Leatherhead host Lewes.
Brown is also hoping he can tie up the paperwork to add a new face to the Fleet squad before this weekend’s home match against Bath City.
