The competition format
Each group match will see the winner of the 90-minute match take three points. If the game results in a draw, each side will earn a point with the game then also heading to penalties. The winner of the shootout will earn an extra point.
If the Fleet progress into the quarter-finals, we will be placed into a separate pot to all qualified PL2 sides to ensure a National League vs Premier League 2 clash. The top two finishers of the four groups will progress to the last eight. The semi-final is a straight draw and the final venue is still to be confirmed.
Matches are treated as first-team fixtures and teams have to start games with a minimum of four players who started either the previous or the next league match.
