The Fleet’s Michael West will join Herne Bay on loan until the end of their regular season – which finishes on April 23rd.
Midfielder West, 31, moves to Winch’s Field to join Herne Bay’s promotion campaign in the Isthmian South East Division where the Kent club currently lie sixth, two points outside the play-offs with a game in hand.
West has featured nine times for the first-team this season to bring his total across his three spells with the Fleet to more than 175 games. Herne Bay’s squad already includes another former Fleet face with ex-Academy defender Joe Denny playing his football there.
The club wishes Westy all the very best in his time at Herne Bay.
In other loan news, we can confirm that Ashley Nathaniel-George has returned to Southend United at the conclusion of his temporary stay at the Kuflink Stadium. Ashley made four appearances before an injury sustained in the win over Eastbourne Borough.
