There was triple recognition for Fleet players this week as two young guns earned an England C call-up while Nathan Ashmore is in line for Goalkeeper of the Year.
Ashmore, who has played in every minute of Fleet’s league season during 2016/17, is up for the gong courtesy of the Non-League Paper‘s annual awards. Voting is carried out online with various other categories throughout non-league up for grabs as well.

Meanwhile, Jack Powell and Darren McQueen were named in the England C squad for the upcoming friendlies against Panjab FC and then in Jersey as part of an FA Representative XI. The Panjab game takes place at Solihull Moors on May 28th with the trip to the Channel Islands two days later.
The club would like to congratulate both players who follow in a long line of Fleet representatives at England C level and they become the first to earn that honour since Brandon Hall.
