Michael Timlin’s transfer saga comes to an end this Monday (17th February) as he will finally be registered by the National League following the lifting of the transfer embargo imposed on the club.
The former Southend midfielder signed for the Fleet from Stevenage on January 21st but has been unable to appear in a club shirt since due to the embargo.
“He’s trained superbly, he’s a leader and winner,” said manager Kevin Watson of the 34-year-old. “He’s played loads of games, he’ll be good for us. He’ll probably need a couple of games to get up to speed because he’s not played for a while but his enthusiasm, willingness to listen, willingness to be around the lads and lend his help and advice has been invaluable.”
