The club can announce that striker Brandon Thomas-Asante has departed following an approach from a League Two club.
The 20-year-old former MK Dons player joined the Fleet on non-contract terms before the AFC Fylde game, making three appearances from the bench, and has now signed a contract at his new club.
Fleet boss Garry Hill said, “Good luck to the lad, we weren’t going to stand in his way when he gets a shot at League Two. We signed him on terms where we knew this was a possibility and he goes with all the good wishes of the football club. It’s no secret I am still one forward short with Cody McDonald some time away from a return and we’re looking to address that as soon as it suits us.”
We wish Brandon all the best for the future. New signing Frankie Sutherland will now take the No. 19 shirt.
