Make sure you don’t rush off after the final whistle tomorrow afternoon as the Fleet Trust are organising a special photograph to commemorate the last game at Stonebridge Road with the Liam Daish Stand in place.
After more than 50 years of loyal service, the roadside terrace will be in use for its final first-team match against Bishop’s Stortford. And the Trust has asked that as many fans as possible congregate under the roof of the Liam Daish Stand where the players will join in the photograph by forming up on the pitch in front of the terrace.
There is also a special-edition and larger programme published tomorrow, with the 52-pager (priced at £3) to include fans’ recollections from years spent watching the Fleet in that stand.
