Plans for the redevelopment of the PHB Stadium will go on show for the club’s supporters at an exhibition planned for Monday, January 26th, in the Fleet Social Club from 6pm to 8pm.
At the end of this month, Ebbsfleet United will be submitting the stadium redevelopment plans to Gravesham Council. The club is sending out a communication to ward councillors and all local residents early this week inviting them to an exhibition of the proposals this Thursday.
Fleet vice chairman Peter Varney said, “We believe the plans will be the catalyst for the regeneration of Northfleet and the stadium has been designed to make it a focal point for the local community. The new main stand will house new dressing rooms, a sponsors’ lounge, boardroom, commercial facilties, offices and a new community facility is being incorporated into the stand for use by young and old alike.
“The football club has developed a community engagement plan in conjunction with the Council and other key partners to ensure the community derives maximum benefit from this exciting new development.
“Our intention is to seek a full detailed planning consent for the construction of a new main stand on Stonebridge Road and outline planning consent for the development of the other three sides of the PHB Stadium.”
