Mark Cousins
Signed from Bromley in summer 2022, the experienced and highly rated Cousins made his League debut in the Championship with Colchester United in 2007 after progressing through the club’s youth ranks, going on to play 70 games in the League for the Essex side before a move to Dagenham & Redbridge in 2014.
He played for the Daggers in League Two and the National League for four years, helping them into the 2016/17 play-offs, and featured at Goodison Park in an FA Cup game against Everton. He repeated the FA Cup heroics with a year as Barnet’s No.1 in 2018/19 where he shut out Championship side Sheffield United in the Bees’ run to the Fourth Round.
Two successful seasons with Bromley in the National League followed, where he was part of the squad that won the FA Trophy at Wembley, before he made his move to the Kuflink Stadium in 2022. He won the National South title with the Fleet in his first season and was ever-present in his second as he landed the Supporters’ Player of the Year award in 2023/24.
