Ebbsfleet United have agreed a deal to loan Sean Shields to Notts County for the rest of the season.
Shields, 27, was one of the players made available for transfer at the end of last season by Garry Hill. He has played six games this season, five of them from the bench, with his penultimate game for the Fleet coming against the Magpies two weeks ago.
The club’s longest-serving player, signed from Dagenham & Redbridge, he made his debut in Jamie Day’s first game in charge against Weston-super-Mare in December 2014 and has since played 137 times, with 82 starts, scoring 17 goals.
This latest loan follows on from spells with Chelmsford City, Margate, Hemel Hempstead Town, Maidstone United and Boreham Wood.
A popular winger in his five years with the Fleet, Sean departs on loan to Meadow Lane with the best wishes of everyone at the club for the season ahead.
