Shaq Coulthirst will continue his stay with Braintree Town for the remainder of the season following two successful loan spells at the Essex club, pending the League’s approval.
The Fleet striker originally joined the Iron at the end of October and has since played 19 times for Braintree, finding the back of the net on seven occasions.
Braintree are currently fourth in the Vanarama National League South as the battle for the play-off positions tightens following seven consecutive wins for Angelo Harrop’s side. Coulthirst netted the winner from the spot on Tuesday night against fellow play-off rivals Bath City.
All of us at the club wish Shaq a successful extended stay with Braintree for the remainder of the season.
In other loan news Harrison Firth continues his stay at Chipstead, having featured on Tuesday night once again in the Isthmian South Central division where his side drew 1-1 away to Leatherhead. Nathan Odokonyero, meanwhile, continues to thrive at Tonbridge Angels with five goals in eight games.
