The club announced today that the early bird season ticket prices are to be extended until 31st July.
Vice Chairman Peter Varney said, “The sales to date are disappointing. We appreciate that a lot of supporters will be away on holiday at this time of year and we want to give them additional time to purchase their season tickets.
“A number of supporters have said to me that they only have to miss two home matches to pay the same sum at the turnstile match by match but that argument could equally apply to those fans missing three or four matches.
“After 31st July we will be announcing a number of benefits that will apply to season ticket holders only so I would urge fans to show their support for the club and the new owners by purchasing a season ticket by the new deadline date.”
