Royal visitor at the Fleet

Staff at the Kuflink Stadium were both pleased and proud to host His Royal Highness the Duke of Gloucester together with the Lord Lieutenant of Kent The Lady Colgrain on a visit to our venue last week.

Following an earlier visit to Gravesend, the Duke presented achievement awards to young people of the Construction Youth Trust, an independent charity of which he is patron.

The Duke was welcomed to the Kuflink Stadium by Ebbsfleet United CEO Damian Irvine and spoke to a packed house upstairs in our Main Lounge following the presentation of the awards. He stayed to meet with many of the young achievers, while club staff provided catering and hosting for all our attendees as part of the Investing in Kent’s Future Talent event.

As well as the Construction Youth Trust (CYT), we also welcomed guests from Ebbsfleet Development Corporation, Lower Thames Crossing, the Gallagher Group and Colyer-Fergusson.

The CYT are one of just many organisations who have made use of the Kuflink Stadium venue for meetings, events, business sessions and social occasions this year and we were delighted to host His Royal Highness and the charity.
