The Fleet have signed defender Franklin Domi on loan from QPR ahead of the final player-registration deadline of the 2021/22 season.

21-year-old Domi, who operates predominantly in a central defensive role or at full-back, has been at Loftus Road since 2019 and has represented his native Albania at U20 level.

He has previous experience in this division having been on an extended loan at Concord Rangers earlier this season from November through to January and he also played for Eastbourne Borough in 2019/20. In addition, he has turned out against the Fleet on a couple of occasions in friendlies for QPR’s U23s including a training match held this week during the international break.

The promising young player started out with Enfield Borough as a teenager and came to the notice of QPR in early 2019, becoming a regular in the Championship side’s U23 squad.

We welcome Franklin to the club and wish him an enjoyable and successful stay at the Kuflink Stadium. He will wear squad No.26.
